Application Correction Window for IISER Closes Today May 17; How to Edit IAT 2024 Form

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) will close the application correction facility for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 today, May 17. Registered candidates can make final edits to their IAT 2024 application form by visiting the official website, iiseradmission.in.

The IAT 2024 admit card is set to be released on June 1, with the exam scheduled for June 9, starting at 9AM. The IAT 2024 assesses eligibility for the BS-MS (dual degree) and BS degree programmes offered at IISER Berhampur, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Mohali, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, and IISER Tirupati.

IAT 2024 Application Correction Window Editable Fields

• Candidates can update personal details, educational qualifications, exam centre preferences, and other relevant information. They can also upload or replace documents, certificates, marksheets, and photos. 
• However, some fields remain non-editable during this period. These include the applicant's name, primary email ID, primary phone number, date of birth, gender, category (General, EWS, SC, ST, OBC), citizenship status (Indian Citizen, OCI, foreign national), and confirmation of having studied mathematics in Class 12 (or equivalent).

IAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The IAT 2024 will be a computer-based test held at various centres across India. The exam will feature 60 multiple choice questions, with 15 questions each from biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Each correct answer will earn four marks, while incorrect answers will incur a penalty of one negative mark. The total duration of the exam is three hours, and the maximum score is 240 marks.
