The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification regarding the entrance examination for All India Sainik Schools (AISS) 2023 for the admission of students in classes 6 to 9 across India.
On 8 January 2023, AISS Entrance Examination will take place. English-medium residential schools with ties to the CBSE prepare students to enter the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and other officer-training institutions.
Pen and paper examinations will be done for the exam using OMR sheets. The application form must be submitted by 30 November 2022 at 5 PM and the application fee may be paid up until 11:50 PM. Multiple-choice questions will make up the paper format. In 180 cities around the nation, the examination will be held.
To be eligible for entrance to class 6, students must be between the ages of 10 and 12 as on 31 March 2023. Only class 6 is offered for female applicants. For students who want to take admission to class 9 must be between the ages of 13 and 15 as on 31 March 2023.
