Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will initiate the second round of choice filling for Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC 2023) for BTech and BArch programs on September 21. Notably, candidates who previously registered for round 1 at uptac.admissions.nic.in need not reapply to participate in the AKTU UPTAC round 2 BTech counselling.
The seat allocation in this round will be determined by candidates' preferences for courses and colleges, seat availability, and other factors.
Additionally, AKTU, the overseeing authority, will open the choice filling facility for UG and PG courses based on the CUET score starting from September 22.
Candidates who secure seat allotments will be required to remit a seat acceptance fee of Rs 20,000 for general category applicants, while reserved category candidates will need to pay Rs 12,000.
As a reminder, the option to lock choices will cease during the third round. Hence, candidates should ensure that their selected choices align with their order of preference. AKTU is expected to conduct a total of six rounds of counselling, with rounds 4 to 5 lacking the choice-filling option.
