The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has initiated the vacancy list and commenced the choice-filling process for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET 7) today, October 23. Candidates who cleared the recruitment test can now review the updated seat availability and follow the detailed instructions at aiimsexams.ac.in.
How to Do AIIMS NORCET 7 Choice-Filling 2024
The choice-filling window will remain open from October 23 to October 30. The second stage of the NORCET 7, a computer based test (CBT), was conducted on October 4, while the final results were declared on October 16.
A total of 6,944 candidates qualified in this round, of which 2,581 are male and 4,363 female. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) category had the largest group of selected candidates at 3,161, followed by Scheduled Castes (SC) with 1,430, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) with 1,007, unreserved candidates with 851, and Scheduled Tribes (ST) with 495.
AIIMS emphasised that all results are provisional, pending the verification of the candidates' documents and fulfillment of the necessary eligibility criteria. The document verification process will be handled by the respective institutions or hospitals where the candidates are placed.
