The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has revised the academic calendar for 2024-25. An official notification has been issued by the council in this regard.
According to the revised academic calendar, the last date for admitting students to the first-year against vacant seats has been changed to October 23.
The last date for the commencement of classes for first-year students of technical courses has also been revised to October 23, 2024.
Earlier the deadline for institutions was September 15. However, the extended deadline is not valid for standalone institutions offering Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM) programmes.
Apart from this, the last date for lateral admission for students to Second year in technical institutions has also been revised to October 23.
