The 17th session of All India Bar Examination largely known as: AIBE was conducted on 5 February 2023, for lawyers and new law graduates to obtain Certificate of Practice (COP). Applicants who appeared for the examination will be able to obtain their COP if they qualify for AIBE according to the minimum marks criteria. The Bar Council of India will declare the results of AIBE 17 anytime soon, that will further confirm if an applicant has qualified for the bar exam or not. The provisional answer key of the AIBE XVII 2023 was released on 9 February 2023, on the official website. The council closed the objection window for raising objections on 20 February 2023, in online mode. It must further be noted that the Council will release the results post reviewing the objections received from the applicants. 

The Bar Council of India will further award the Certificate of Practice (COP) to applicants who qualify the exam. Applicants falling in the general category must secure a minimum AIBE exam passing mark of 40%, whereas the SC and ST applicants must score 35%.
