Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based start-up AI Testified, incubated at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, is organising a national-level quiz competition for students of Classes V to XII on the eve of National Science Day (NSD).
The theme of this year’s National Science Day celebration is ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a sustainable future’. Every year, this day is celebrated to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist C.V. Raman, who was awarded the Nobel prize in Physics.
The quiz will be conducted in three groups — students of Classes VI to VIII can register themselves for the beginner level, Classes IX and X for the intermediate level, and students of Classes XI and XII can register themselves for the Advanced level.
The hour-long quiz will be conducted online. Students can register for free until 28th February 2022, 1.00 PM. The winner of the quiz will be awarded the Young Scientist of the Year award.
The quiz will also include the choice to use elimination and the 50-50 technique to choose the most suitable options. Students will also be provided with video solutions and resource recommendations after the quiz that will help identify the knowledge gap.
This is the first time that all 1,053 government schools of Delhi will be participating in this online competition.
