Aspiring students can now view the breakdown of subject-specific and stream-specific quotas for government, non-government higher secondary schools and inter colleges in Bihar on the official website, ofssbihar.in.

A total of 9,907 schools will be providing admissions for class 11 students. This year, there are over 17 lakh seats available for class 11 enrollment in Bihar, with the Arts stream leading in seat availability. During the registration process, candidates will have the flexibility to choose between a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 schools.

Additionally, the BSEB recently concluded the class 10 board examinations, with more than 16 lakh students participating. The results were announced on March 31, 2024, with an overall pass rate of 82.91%.

The class 12 examinations, which ended on February 12, 2024, saw approximately 13 lakh students appearing. The pass percentage for Bihar Board class 12 exams stood at 87.21%, as declared on March 23, 2024.

In a significant development, the Bihar Board has decided to discontinue Intermediate studies across all degree colleges for the academic session 2024-25.
