Selected candidates will have to work in shifts involving ardous and hazardous jobs in remote/far-flung OIL installations in the production and exploration areas of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Salary
Candidates selected for the positions will be provided salaries according to different pay scales. Pay scale will range from Grade III to Grade V for different positions.
Selection Procedure
Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions will have to appear in a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will have to secure minimum 50 percent marks. SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities will have to secure a minimum of 40 percent marks.
The Computer Based Test will have Multiple Choice Questions and will have no negative marks.
The question paper will have questions from three different sections,
Part A: English Language & General Knowledge/Awareness and Questions of Oil India Limited
Part B: Reasoning, Arithmatic/Numerical & Mental Ability
Part C: Domain or relevant Technical Knowledge: Questions will be based on the qualification prescribed for the post and commensurate with the level of the post.
