Sushila Birla Memorial Day was celebrated on 4th October 2023 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium with a magnificent production ‘The Roll of the Dice’ –the Mahabharata from the perspective of the women characters. The cast comprised 305 students from various classes.
The programme aimed to bring to life the timeless saga of the Mahabharata, immersing the audience in its rich narratives, values and cultural heritage. The heart of the evening was a series of captivating dramatic performances, melodious songs, mesmerising dance sequences and elaborate sets.
The musical extravaganza included key episodes from the Mahabharata like the Bhagavad Gita dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjuna, the swayamvara of Draupadi and the Kurukshetra war. It allowed the audience to delve into the depths of this epic tale, understand its profound teachings and appreciate the values it imparts.
