Celebrating 10 years, Script Productions is organising Calcutta's Happiest Youth Festival, Calcutta Youth Meet- Chapter 7, The Resurrection. The event will be held at Gyan Manch, Kolkata on 22nd September 2023, from 9 am onwards.
The event will witness a special theatre performance 'Ek Je Chilo Raja' covering 3 famous stories of Bengal 'Gupi Gyen Baga Byne' of Satyajit Ray, in the form of a dance drama, 'Moronbhomra' by Saradindu Bandopadhyay, audio drama and finally 'Kabuliwala' by Rabindranath Tagore as proscenium Theatre.
Dr. Basudeb Mukherjee will be playing the character of 'Kabuliwala’.
This year, they will be showcasing talents in Battle of Bands, Dance, Fashion Show and Miss Calcutta, along with several online competitions.
Calcutta Youth Meet for the past 7 years has been a stage for over 50,000+ students to upbringing talents all over India. This will be the first offline event in Eastern India after the pandemic where more than 1000 students will be participating.
