2nd February 2023 was red letter day for Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management, New Town as the students of first , Second and Third Year of all Management courses got a golden opportunity to meet and interact with distinguished luminaries of Pathum Thani University, Bangkok. Pathum Thani University has a cordial relation with Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management since long back and has opened the door wide to welcome enthusiastic students. At first they were felicitated by the students and Faculties warmly. The eminent and eloquent guest speaker, Dr.Chayarnithsarr Khanijor, better and popularly known as Goddy Ma’am took the floor and encouraged students to pursue higher studies, internship as well as overseas job in Thailand. As the students listened to her expertise spell bound, they felt the kick, the urge to explore and go beyond their known, familiar World.
Dr.Nithima Yuenyong, Vice President of Pathum Thani University Bangkok raised the bar of excitement by sharing knowledge on Thai culture, Food and Festivals. Definitely the enriching discussion was so satisfying that the young aspirants and learners were carving to reach the shores of Thailand, specially to the wonderful , captivating Pathum Thani University. It was a rare opportunity indeed to meet such loving, friendly and motivating speakers from an international University as well as to share space and listen to their valuable words of advise.
Dr. Uthairat Muangsan, Dean of Business administration department Pathum Thani University as well stole the show sharing many new facts of Thailand, a beautiful south East Asian country’s tourism the most sought after tourist destination and their hospitality.
The question answer session between the students and the distinguished dignitaries was worth enjoying and truly appealing. The thirst for knowing more about the hotel, hospitality and Fashion industry, their work culture and how different it is from Indian culture gave enormous feedback to the curious learners.
Last but not the least the group photo of students with such warm hearted amiable personages made their day outstanding. It was a splendid gift from Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management which the students will surely remember and cherish whole life.
