The Indian Plumbing Association Students Chapter was formally inaugurated at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata on 18th November 2022. The inaugural ceremony included personalities like MrAbhay Pasari, the chairman of the Indian Plumbing Association, Kolkata Chapter who was the Chief Guest at the event.
This was followed by Samiran Banik, the Secretary of the Indian Plumbing Association, Kolkata Chapter and Mr Sudip Das, Secretary, of the Indian Plumbing Association, Kolkata Chapter.
The entire programme was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Heritage Institute of Technology.
During his inaugural address, Mr Pasari spoke about the support Indian Plumbing Association can provide to the students thus helping them to know about the latest technologies used in the Indian Plumbing Industry.
The programme also witnessed the presence of Dr Asis Mazumdar, Professor, Department of Water Resource Engineering, Jadavpur University among the speakers who played an instrumental role in opening up the Students Chapter at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
Mr P.K.Agarwal, CEO, of Heritage Group of Institutions, Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, of Heritage Institute of Technology, Dr Sujit Barua, Registrar, of Heritage Institute and Prof. Tapas Sadhu, Head of Department, Civil Engineering were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
