Under the mentorship of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, the Institute organised a special session on ‘Sharing Success Stories’ for PGDM students
The session was conceptualised to provide a platform to the placed students of PGDM Batch 2021-23 to share their journey in getting placements in different A listed organisations like Deloitte, Quadrant Knowledge, Gateway Distiparks and Bangmetric.
Speaking on the occasion, Director, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, congratulated the students for getting their dream jobs. Emphasising the significance of perseverance, grit, determination and resilience as fail-proof qualities essential for success, she highlighted that at a time when corporates are yet to visit maximum Management Institutes for recruitment drives, the placement season at IMS Ghaziabad is already in its full swing. Inspiring the budding managers to derive maximum learning from their first jobs, she highlighted that “The first job is a step towards the destination and not the destination itself”. She appreciated the cumulative efforts of the CRC team as well as the faculty and staff in making the students placement ready.
The placed students, Rajat Verma, Aakash Verma, Digvijay Bhaduriya, Ashish Nautiyal, Aditi Prajapati, Anurag Singh, Manakh Jyoti Dhekial Phukon, Gideon Naidu , Bharti Tayal, Gauravi Kaushik , Arushi Agrawal , Parushi Avasthi, Ruchi Singh, Shreya Pandey, Riya Tiwari, Navrang Singh and Nimisha Siddhu shared their experiences during the rigorous placement sessions and also the support provided by the institute towards their corporate readiness. They thanked the institute for getting elite recruiters for placements and providing them the opportunities, guidance and support to prove their mettle. The interactive session, compered by Devansh Chaubey & Takshika Chaudhary and coordinated by Dr. Parul Yadav & Mr. Asjad Iqbal inspired all students to dream big and put in their best efforts for achieving their dream placements.
Furthermore, IMS Ghaziabad, under the vision of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, will also be organising a reputed 20 Hours Swiss Certified Course on 'Ethical Decision Making for Responsible Business' for PGDM Batch 2021-23 & Batch 2022-24 scheduled from 1 to 7 December, 2022. The elite certification course will be delivered under the prestigious Memorandum of Understanding for Global Collaboration with "Humanistic Management Center, Geneva, Switzerland and Humanistic Management Network, Geneva, Switzerland". The program will be graced by rich insights of the global icons Dr. Ernst Von Kimakowitz, Co-Founder & Director, Humanistic Management Network, Geneva, Switzerland and Dr. Shiv K Tripathi, India Chapter Lead, Humanistic Management Network, Switzerland as Expert Resource Speakers for the sessions.
The vital certification course will be instrumental in giving the right direction and an enriched perspective to the upcoming leaders and empower them with value based ethical decision making.
