​​For this young high jumper from Jamshedpur, there is no bar high enough. Amandeep is reaching new heights while receiving instruction from Tata Steel's sports manager Sanjeev Kumar. She recently won gold in the 16th Jharkhand State Inter District Junior Athletics Championship as well as the 12th East Singhbhum District Athletics Meet. Additionally, she took home silver at the Balewadi, Pune-hosted CISCE National Sports and Games 2022.

A person’s success in sports like basketball, volleyball, and track & field requires passion as well as dedication. It takes a lot of practise and hours of gruelling activity to perform as well as achieve laurels in a sport like high jumping. And our young 18 under 18 winner Amandeep Kaur, who has emerged as the popular choice winner, is an embodiment of this dedication and commitment to her sport of choice.

I just felt that people love me so much that they voted for me to make this win. Present at the event I also interacted with other top 50 participants who I felt were very talented. In the near future I wish to present India in athletics and olympics. I am also very grateful to my school for supporting and cooperating with me in my entire sports journey till now”
