The Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, bagged the Institute of the Year Award (East) at the 16th International Education Leadership and Skill Development Summit 2023 organised by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) on 26 May. The award ceremony was organised in New Delhi.
Mr. P. K. Agarwal, CEO, of Heritage Group of Institutions, and Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, of Heritage Institute of Technology received the prestigious ASSOCHAM Education Excellence Award from the members of the ASSOCHAM National Council.
This 16th International Education & Skill Summit saw the coming together of Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Presidents, Deans, Heads of Higher Education Institutions and Universities, Ed tech leaders, Accreditors, Ranking Industries, from India & different parts of the world.
On the same day, Heritage Business School, Kolkata, received the award for Excellence in Enabling Preferred Environment for Placements (East) in the award ceremony.
The award ceremony was addressed by experts from the Industry and also from AICTE, National Board Accreditation, NETF and AIU. Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, NETF also addressed the International Education Leadership & Skill Development Summit 2023.
Kunwar Sekhar Vijendra, Chairman, Assocham National Council on Education, Prof. Rajita Kulkarni, Co-chair, Assocham National National Council on Education and Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Co-chair, National Council on Education, Assocham were also present during the award ceremony.
The thought provoking, inspiring, and disruptive discussions were focused on the changing paradigms of the world and how education needs to align, adapt and lead the evolution of the world!
