Little Flower School, Jamshedpur marked its 56th Annual Sports Day on November 25, 2023, at the Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium, Telco. With the theme 'Embracing Diversity for Peace and Harmony,' the event showcased a vibrant celebration of differences and a call for peaceful coexistence.
The Chief Guest, Mr VN Singh, Head Administration, Tata Motors Ltd and Guest of Honour, Mrs Uma Pandey, Principal of LFS Partner School, MEUV, Laxminagar, unfurled the school flag, setting the stage for a day filled with excitement. The March Past Parade, Torch Relay, Sports Oath, and Prayer Song kicked off the festivities, leading to a series of thrilling sporting events and captivating performances by the school band and drill displays.
Athletes from all grades, joined by students from MEUV Laxminagar, engaged in thirty fun-filled events, including sprints and relay races. The school band's musical prowess complemented the athletes' showcase of skills. Even younger students participated in entertaining short races, leaving spectators thoroughly entertained.
The climax of the day was the Prize Distribution and Felicitation ceremony, honouring the ASISC Champions of 2023. These champions brought home coveted gold, silver, and bronze medals at the National level, making the school proud.
