Taste authentic flavours from the kitchen of Jorasanko and celebrate ‘Kobipokkho’ this May. To observe the birth month of Rabindranath Tagore, Kolkata-based cloud kitchen Goppoburir Henshel is launching special Sunday menus. Each menu will feature dishes inspired by recipes from cookbooks by Pragyasundari Devi, Indira Devi and Purnima Thakur. Starting from May 5, the ‘Thakurbarir Ranna’ menu will be available for home delivery with prior bookings. Some of the dishes to look forward to are Rui Posto, Ram Mohan Dolma Pulao, Murgir Rosholla and more. The May 26 menu comprises dishes like a sweet and aromatic Dwarakanath Firni pulao, a signature dish curated by Pragyasundari Devi named after Prince Dwarakanth Tagore. The next is Shorshe Murgi, a recipe by Purnima Thakur, where meat is cooked with mustard paste and yoghurt giving it a thick consistency and mild mustard flavour. The Doodh Katla is a common recipe among the aristocratic households of Bengal and the kitchens of Jorasanko, where fish is cooked in milk.

For this menu, the last date to order is May 24.
