Actor Taha Shah Badussha is winning hearts as the rich, handsome and idealistic Tajdar Baloch in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heeramandi. Cast as a foreign-educated young man who falls in love with a courtesan’s daughter, Alamzeb (played by Bhansali’s niece Sharmin Segal), Taha has successfully blended two aspects of Tajdar — a romantic who also nurtures the fire of revolution in his heart.
After Heeramandi, Taha’s fans can’t stop gushing over his eyes and smile. Born and brought up in the UAE, the 36-year-old made his acting debut opposite Shraddha Kapoor in 2011 in Luv Ka The End. He was also seen in the Sidharth Malhotra-Katrina Kaif-starrer Baar Baar Dekho and the web series Taj: Divided by Blood.
At an event in Dubai, Taha channeled a retro vibe in a fitted three-piece pastel suit and tie with neat side-parted hair.
White seems to be his favourite shade and Taha looks as good in smart casuals.
