Love Bhel? Start the day with it, we say. Try out the healthy version of Bhel — a crunchy-munchy recipe from chef Rahul Arora. Try a multigrain mix like the food connoisseur, add finely chopped vegetables like cucumber, tomato and onion. Don’t forget to add some lemon juice, chopped chillies and coriander leaves along with a sprinkle of chaat masala. Mix well, pour a warm cuppa and your morning meal is deliciously sorted.
If you don’t have access to a multigrain mix, here are a few suggestions from the foodie Bhel lovers at My Kolkata:
1. Dry roast some muri or take muri as it is and make bhel. Skip adding oil
2. Dry roast some poha and make a Bhel-like mixture with it
3. Ghee-saute some makhana, make a similar chaat and have it for breakfast
