Bipasha Basu and her daughter Devi’s Mother’s Day celebration was a special one this year. The Bollywood actress spent quality time with her daughter, teaching her gardening. Devi, who looked happy in the company of plants, enjoyed thoroughly, as she learnt something new.
If you have a growing child at home, Bipasha’s Mother’s Day plan is something that you can try out too. Here are two My Kolkata suggested ideas to make DIY gardening with your child even more educational and fun:
Take your li’l one pot shopping or allow him or her to pick if you are shopping online. Needless to say, opt for brick or ceramic pots, and say no to plastic pots. You can also teach your child why to say no to plastic while picking planters
If you are planting seeds or saplings, put them in separate containers and label them. If your child is not an infant and a toddler, teach him or her the names of the seeds or saplings
