The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has officially announced the much-awaited results for the Madhyamik (Class 10) exams today, May 2. A press conference began the day's events at 9 AM, followed by the online release of results at 9.45 AM. Students who took the exams can now access their scores on the official websites wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.

The class 10 examinations for 2024 were officially conducted from February 2 to February 12. This year, a total of 9,23,636 students enrolled, where 9,12,598 appeared for the exam across 986 centres statewide, in which 7,65,252 students cleared them. With 4,03,900 male students and 5,08,698 female students, 2024 saw a 25.95 percent rise in female students.

This year the overall pass percentage is 86.31%, with Chandrachur Sen emerging as the topper with 693 marks (99%).

To check your results online, follow these simple steps:

  • Visit the official website at wbbse.wb.gov.in or wbresults.nic.in.
  • Click on the "Madhyamik Results 2024" link on the homepage.
  • Login with your unique credentials (roll number and DOB)
  • After entering the required details, press ‘submit’ to view your results.
  • Download and print your scorecard for future reference.

Alternative Channels to Check Results:

  • SMS: Send a message "WB10Your Roll Number" to 56263 or 56070.
  • Mobile Apps: The results are available on mobile apps like "Madhyamik Results 2024," "Madhyamik Result," and "FASTRESULT."

Moreover, WBBSE has set up camps in select sub-divisions such as Bolpur, Rampurhat, Chandannagore, Murshidabad, Howrah (Sadar), Kakdwip, Kalimpong, and Malda (Sadar) for the distribution of mark sheets and certificates from 10 AM onwards today.

With the release of the Class 10 results, the state now eagerly awaits, the results for the plus-II exams which will be declared by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) on May 8 at 1 PM, with results accessible on various websites starting from 3 PM.
