Osmania University has initiated the registration process for the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET 2024) on its official website, telanganaset.org. Interested candidates can complete the TS SET 2024 application before the deadline on July 2 to avoid late fees.

Scheduled between August 28 and 31, the TS SET 2024 examination will cover a broad spectrum of subjects, including general studies and 29 specialised fields, all conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode across ten districts of Telangana. Applicants will have a brief opportunity for form correction on July 28 and 29, with the availability of the TS SET 2024 admit card slated for August 20.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must possess a master’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks. Reserved category applicants will receive a 5% relaxation.
  • Those currently pursuing their master’s degree or awaiting results, as well as candidates whose qualifying exams have been delayed, are eligible to apply.
  • Additionally, individuals holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a completed master’s level examination by September 19, 1991, are entitled to a 5% aggregate marks relaxation for SET eligibility.

Application Fees

  • Candidates from the unreserved (UR) category required to pay ₹2,000.
  • Backward class (BC) and economically weaker section (EWS) category candidates will be charged ₹1,500.
  • Scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), visually handicapped (VH), hearing impaired (HI), orthopaedically handicapped (OH), and transgender category candidates will need to pay ₹1,000.
