Delhi Public School, North Kolkata, recently inaugurated its sports block on the sixth-floor terrace of the building. Shukla played a ball or two with the school’s sports enthusiasts before encouraging all to keep playing in life. “Make sure you play a sport always. Sports help you understand life like nothing else. It helps you stay humble just like Sachin Tendulkar and M.S. Dhoni,” Shukla said after signing a replica of a cricket bat. “We have around 3,000 students in the school and this new block will give them space for practice. This has mainly been done for the middle school students. We also plan to organise tournaments in future,” said Manjim Ghosh, principal.
