Twins Nolan and Kaiden H, along with their friend Wogen Hsiung, of China Town enjoy a sensorial journey for toddlers at a gallery near EM Bypass on Thursday. The three-year-olds played with pieces of black and white paper of varying shapes and sizes, discovering their different textures.

Soon, they moved on to making bikes with cotton wool and lying under a "starry night". A burst of colours, smells and textures greeted the three friends at Under The Table and Dreaming, presented by ThinkArts for children aged two to four. Six different worlds, each under a table, await the children in the course of the 30-minute interaction, with some play time thrown in.

Cotton, cloth, lights, glitters, wood shavings, leaves, paper, wool, sand and strains of the flute allow children to experience myriad sights, scents and sounds. "Every table gives kids a different sensorial experience. Some take to a particular world while others want to explore all," said Ruchira Das, the founder of ThinkArts. The show is on till Sunday.
