Alipurduar: India and Bhutan have planned a series of programmes from February 21 to celebrate its golden jubilee year of friendship.
The three day event will come to end on February 23.
On Saturday, Thinley Dorji, secretary general of India Bhutan Friendship Association and Raj Basu, secretary general of the association representing India, held a meeting here to discuss the programmes that would be organised in both the countries.
In 1968, India and Bhutan had initiated diplomatic relations.
"Our aim is exchange of culture between the people of both the countries," Basu said.
