Raiganj: The Balurghat woman who had accused expelled CPM leader Ritabrata Banerjee of sexually exploiting her on the promise of marriage has lodged a fresh complaint against four others.

In the complaint lodged at Balurghat police station on Wednesday, the woman has named two other women, whom she claimed to be close to Ritabrata, and two unknown persons.

"All four have been consistently calling me up and insisting that I should withdraw the complaint against Ritabrata. They have also threatened me over phone. So, I filed a fresh complaint today and want the police to take necessary steps," she said.

Based on her earlier complaint, Delhi police, CID and the Bengal police are probing the case. A CID team spoke to the woman at her home on Tuesday evening.

"I gave them every possible detail in connection with the case. I also handed them some photographs, e-mails and other documents to prove my point," the woman said.
