Music release of Diwana Diwani
|Babushan looked a bit off colour. Spending sleepless nights, Mr. Diwana?|
The music release of upcoming movie Diwana Diwani was a bit out of tune. Though most of the supporting actors turned up for the event, the absence of director Ashok Pati and actress Madhumita made the ceremony a lacklustre event. Even the protagonist, Babushan Mohanty, was not his usual self. The event took place at Ekamra Haat.
The album has five songs sung by renowned singers. Prashant Padhi has scored the music. Also present at the event were actors Meenaketan, Pintu Nanda, Debashish and Uttam Mohanty. The movie, made under the banner of Mahadev Films, hit theatres on March 22.
Music release of Chauka Chakka
Contrary to Diwana Diwani, the whole cast and crew of the Chauka Chakka attended the music launch of the film. The music album for the film has five tracks and Abhijit Majumdar has directed the music. Tatwa Prakash Satpathy popularly known as Pappu Pom Pom stars in the film along with Sambit Acharya and debutante actress Nutan Mohanty. The film has an ensemble of character actors like Arabind Sarangi, Priyanka Mahapatra, Sunita Garabadu and Ashwinee Pati among others.

Launch of Ashok Samrat
|Emili Choudhury was all praise for Arindam who recommended her name for the role|
Fans of Arindam will have to wait a bit. His last film Paribeni Kehi Alaga Kari released in January this year. His next, Ashok Samrat, the shooting of which begins March 15 onwards, will get released on the occasion of Raja festival. Contrary to the speculations, the film will not be a periodic flick, but a contemporary one.

Bong actress Emili Choudhary makes her debut in Odia film industry with this one. The star cast includes Mahasweta, Jairam Samal, Manoj Mishra among others
All the events had one thing in common. They all mark the return of well-known pairs of the director and lead actor. Ashok Pati and Babushan come back together for Diwana Diwani after Idiot. Pappu Pom Pom teams up with director K. Murali Krishna after the success of Rangila Toka. The Gud Boy(s), director Jyotee Das and Arindam also make a comeback.
