Patna: Former students of Notre Dame Academy took down a trip down memory lane on Sunday afternoon as the institution's alumni association organised a get-together on the campus.

For three hours, the students - old and new - had a fun-filled time with the teachers and sisters.

Sister Mary Beena, provincial superior of sisters of Notre Dame Academy, sister Mary Tessy and sister Mary Jessie inaugurated the programme, releasing balloons.

Yashodhara Thakur, also known as Manju Thakur among her students and colleagues, was felicitated for her service. She shared some of her memories with the students and alumni members.

Sister Beena became emotional seeing her old students and said: "Notre Dame recognises the talent of each and every child and we help them in growing. Now we need to give some of it back to society to make this world a little better. Wherever we are I hope we can spread the message of togetherness and brotherhood."

Yamini Sinha, who won the title of Mrs Popular in the Mrs India 2017 pageant was felicitated as "NDA super achiever" on the occasion. "We are proud of our students and their accomplishments," sister Tessy said.

The ex-students had some fun with paper dance, musical chair, marble and spoon game. The highlight of the event was though the ramp walk where Maitreni Mishra from the 2009 batch won the title of Miss Super Alumna, and Lokesh Sinha of the 1996 batch won the title of Mr Super Alumnus.
