Jamie Vardy has kicked his snus and port habits ahead of the World Cup, but will be sticking to his Red Bull and black coffee diet in Russia. And there promises to be a vodka and Skittles party if Vardy can help Gareth Southgate’s men lift the World Cup.

Bangladesh were well on course to winning the inconsequential match after senior pros Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah stitched 84 runs for the fifth wicket.

Rain plays spoilsport

Persistent rain limited play to just 43 minutes on the second morning of the first Test between the West Indies and Sri Lanka at the Queen’s Park Oval here on Thursday.  Till rain intervened, West Indies advanced their first-innings total by 22 runs without losing a wicket.
