Hyogo (Japan): Shiv Kapur shot three-under 68 for a share of the eighth spot after the second round of the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open here on Friday. Kapur is now seven-under 135 for 36 holes. Three other Indians made the cut. Jeev Milkha Singh had an even-par 71 to be tied 25th at four-under while SSP Chowrasia (67) and Chiragh Kumar (72) also ensured weekend action at one-under and tied 59th for two rounds.

Calcutta: Nalini Singh Siwach on Friday clinched the Hero-DLF GCC trophy, the fifth leg of the Hero-WGAI Tour in gurgaon, on Friday. Nalini totalled 217, four clear of Smriti Mehra (80) and Vani Kapoor (72), who were tied for second at 221.
