Calcutta: Former Test umpire Jiban Dhan Ghosh died early on Wednesday. The 69-year-old was suffering from cancer.
Ghosh had officiated in four Tests and three one-day Internationals.
He made his Test debut in the India versus West Indies fourth Test in Madras in 1978-79.
Ghosh officiated in his first one-day International in 1981-82, in the second ODI between India and England in Jalandhar.
He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
