Mumbai: Sailing stars Aashim Mongia and Amit Arvind won bronze medal in the Enterprise World Championship in Ireland.

Mongia and Arvind got off to a difficult start in the eight-race series. At the end of seven races, the team was laying sixth and needed to finish at least ten positions ahead of the team placed third, according to information received here today.

The duo sailed a brilliant last race to win the bronze on Monday. England’s Nick Craig and Sheena Craig won the gold while Ireland’s Chris Dyyar and Simon Cook got the silver.

This is Mongia’s third podium finish. He has won two silver medals in the earlier championships.
