Calcutta, March 24 :    Calcutta, March 24:  Abhishek Jagnani justified his top seeding at the Central Excise Athletic Club-organised Open grasscourt meet, winning the men's singles title today. Jagnani was taken the full distance, though, by his much younger opponent Dhruv Kumar. The top seed eventually won 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to bag a trophy and a cheque for Rs 5000. CAB League relegation final Taltala notched up 369 for seven on the first day of the CAB League relegation play-off final against Excelsiors. Sandip Moitra struck 104 and Samrat Sen 78 at the Eden today to put Taltala on top. BRIEF SCORES: Taltala 367/7 (S. Moitra 104, S. Sen 78) vs Excelsiors. Nikhil Haldipur for Dhaka match Nikhil Haldipur will join five other Indians on a trip to Dhaka for an exhibition match to commemorate Independence Day.
