Sentosa: After months of dispute, the Asian Tour on Tuesday reached an agreement with its European counterpart to co-sanction the Indian Masters in the Delhi from February 7 to 10, making it the region’s season-opening event.
“We are delighted to announce that the Asian Tour have reached an agreement with the European Tour to co-sanction the Ballantine’s Championship and Indian Masters,” Asian Tour executive chairman Kyi Hla Han said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Indian Masters offers $2.5 million prize money.
