Guwahati, Oct. 12: Coal India Ltd will equip Margherita College in Assam’s Tinsukia district with basic infrastructure for the launch of a course on mining from the next academic year.

This was announced today by the adviser of the All Assam Students’ Union, Samujjal Bhattacharyya.

Introduction of such a course for the first time in Assam is expected to generate employment opportunities in natural resources-based industries.
