Menu highlights: Among the main course delicacies are Spicy Aubergine with Okra and French Beans, Braised Chicken with Mushroom in Clay Pot, and Spicy Wild Prawn Curry with Almond and Water Chestnuts. Order them with Spicy Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetable Singapore Fried Noodle or Roast Duck Udon Noodle. Sip on Tokyo Cooler with Lemongrass, Elderflower, Peach Juice, or Tin Hau Martini with Bourbon. Desserts like Red Szechuan Macaron or Raspberry Delice will make the end course a sweet one.

Also available is a wide range of Heart-shaped Chocolates, Jam-filled Cookies, Cheese Puffs, Palmiers and Creamy Mushroom Vol-au-vent.

Menu highlights: Plan a romantic meal that includes Gulaab Sharbat, Murgh Qalmi Kabab, Murgh Afghani Kabab, Mutton Galawati Kabab, Awadhi Sugandhi Mahi and Shahi Dahi Kabab to start with. In the main course choose from Raan Biryani, Awadhi Palak Biryani, Gosht Shahi Qorma, Subz Makhkhan Masala, Paneer Qorma and more. Shahi Tukda and house-special Gajar Ke Halwa add the sweet notes.

The Heart-shaped Sushi at The Fatty Bao is perfect for V-Day

Where: The Fatty Bao, Fort Knox, 8th floor, Camac Street

Menu highlights: Go for the Heart-shaped Sushi, in both vegetarian (beetroot, asparagus, cream cheese, avocado and tomato caviar) and non-vegetarian (thinly-sliced tuna, spicy tuna tartare with cucumber) options. On February 14, the dine den will offer a complimentary strawberry cake to each couple! Say cheers to that with a 1:1 offer on their signature cocktails — The Fatty Sour (a blend of fresh raspberries, whisky and lime) and Passion Mule (white rum, home-made ginger ale, mango and passion fruit).

Bite into Baked Lime Cheesecake at Afraa

Where: Afraa, City Centre Salt Lake

When: February 14, 12.30pm to 4pm

Menu highlights: There is Prune and Date Stuffed Paneer Tikka, and Orange, Mozzarella, Sweet Lime and Basil Caprese with Balsamic Caviars for appetisers. The main course has Rosemary and Pomegranate Pulao, Thikri Daal, and Strawberry Valentine Flan. Chocolate and Nuts coated Strawberry, a live rabri fountain with Laccha Jalebi, and Baked Lime Cheesecake will leave a sweet aftertaste.

V-Day Bites 

Hot and Sour Black Mushroom and Bean Curd

What: Valentine’s Day Buffet

Where: The Orient, City Centre New Town and City Centre Salt Lake

When: February 14, 12.30pm to 3.30pm

Menu highlights: Spicy Prawn with Honey Black Pepper Glaze, Stir-Fried Lamb Pok Choi with Golden Garlic, and Hot and Sour Black Mushroom and Bean Curd are some of the highlights at the New Town address. Strawberry Bellini with Dim Sum, Red Curry Vegetables with Pea Aubergine, King Prawns with Mangetout in Chilli Garlic Sauce are the stars on the Salt Lake menu. The desserts include Chocolate Peanut Fudge with Cheese Frosting and Cherry Cream Gaummies and Pineapple Fritters and Darsan with Vanilla Ice Cream.

In the main course there are dishes like Chicken Tetrazzini, Macaroni Cheese Casserole and Babycorn Florentine. Desserts include Strawberry Souffle and Hot Fudge Brownie.
