Sen: We should have won

Calcutta: Coach Sanjay Sen believes Mohun Bagan failed to earn full points from a game that they should have won. However, he also urged his wards not to get too flustered about Sunday's draw, but focus on the games ahead.

"Obviously, I'm not satisfied with this result. We should have won today and what's more important is that we cannot afford to waste chances in these matches," he said. "Nevertheless, all teams struggle in their first match of the season. Look at what Chelsea did yesterday (Saturday)... I'm confident players will buck up fast...

"Besides, I'm sure other teams will also lose points in this League," Sen added.

On the other hand, Mohammedan Sporting coach Mridul Banerjee warned his players from getting carried away, after holding Bagan to a draw, even after being reduced to 10 men.

"After our captain was shown the red card, our strategy was to block Bagan's midfield as far as possible. Katsumi (Yusa) was the lone danger man..."
