Binod Singh, brother of Binay Singh, a Trinamul Congress councillor from Ward No. 35 of the Howrah Municipal Corporation, had died in the shootout. The killing was the fallout of a business rivalry between Trinamul leaders Pradip Tiwari and Binay Singh, said sources.
