Ayan Mukerji will helm Brahmastra, the fantasy adventure series from Dharma Productions, and he couldn’t be happier. Who wouldn’t if he were to work with Amitabh Bachchan. “It’s a great honour for me to work with him (Bachchan). Ever since the film was conceptualised I wanted to approach him for it and make it with him. I am very happy he is part of team Brahmastra,” Ayan said. Brahmastra will be a trilogy, also featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Alia Bhatt’s #poochoverpataka campaign is making all the right noises — and all of it is below 65 decibels. In a 1:24 video Alia says: “It’s the festival of lights, not noise.” The Dear Zindagi actor goes on to tell viewers that even if they may be okay with the noise, animals and birds are not. “You must, must know that animals and birds hear much louder than we can and for them Diwali sounds like a…world is coming to an end.”
