Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in Skillfest for Schools, an online competition organized by The Telegraph Online Edugraph. The Telegraph Online Edugraph is a property owned by ABP Pvt Limited. By participating in Skillfest for Schools, the participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility:

a. Skillfest for Schools is open to students studying in Classes 8 to 12. Students who have appeared for their Board Examinations in 2023 are not eligible to participate.

b. The competition is open to participants in India.

c. Employees of ABP Pvt Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Categories:

a. Skillfest for Schools invites entries in the following five categories: Entrepreneurship, Digital Design, Videography, Phone Photography, and Scientific Thinking.

b. Each participant may submit an entry in one category only.

Submission Guidelines and Regulations:

a. Participants must adhere to the guidelines and regulations provided in the "Submission Guidelines and Regulations" document for each category.

b. Failure to comply with the guidelines and regulations may result in disqualification.

Entry Review and Shortlisting:

a. Five entries will be shortlisted in each category based on the "Submission Guidelines and Regulations" criteria by The Telegraph Online Edugraph Team

b. A jury comprised of academicians/teachers and/or domain experts will select the winners.

c. The jury's decision will be final and binding on all participants.

Supporting Documents and Evaluation:

a. Participants whose entries have been shortlisted may be asked to submit supporting documents, information, raw files, working documents, or any other material deemed necessary by the jury for final evaluation.

b. Failure to provide the requested materials within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.

Intellectual Property:

a. By submitting an entry, participants grant The Telegraph Online Edugraph a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display the entry for promotional purposes related to Skillfest for Schools.

b. Participants warrant that their entries are original, do not infringe upon any third-party rights, and they have obtained all necessary permissions and consents.

Disqualification:

a. The Telegraph Online Edugraph reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in any fraudulent or unethical behaviour.

b. Disqualified participants will forfeit any prizes or benefits associated with the competition.

Prizes:

a. The prizes for each category will be specified separately and announced on the Skillfest for Schools website.

b. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

c. The Telegraph Online Edugraph will not be responsible for the replacement/return or repair of any of the prizes in the event the product is found to be defective.

Personal Data:

a. Participants' personal information collected during the competition will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy of The Telegraph Online Edugraph.

Modification and Termination:

a. The Telegraph Online Edugraph reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Skillfest competition at any time without prior notice.

b. In the event of termination, ABP Pvt Ltd / The Telegraph Online Edugraph shall not be liable to participants or any third parties.

Governing Law:

a. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Acts and Laws of India.

Severability:

a. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
