Vidushi Agarwal, a 9-year-old from La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata, is racing her way to glory on wheels and beyond. A national-level roller skater and skilled gymnast, Vidushi is proving that age is just a number when determination takes the lead. Her journey into the world of competitive skating began early, and it didn’t take long for her to make headlines. From clinching multiple golds at district and state championships to dominating the West Bengal Roller Skating Championship in October 2024 with a clean sweep across three inline speed skating events, Vidushi’s winning streak is truly phenomenal. She also brought home a bronze medal at the 2nd National Inter-District Roller Skating Championship in Mohali this April in the fiercely contested 200m event, adding another feather to her already glittering cap. But it’s not just medals that define Vidushi—it’s her record-breaking mindset. In February 2024, she etched her name in the International Book of Records by completing 50 laps of 200 meters in just 20 minutes and 52 seconds, an awe-inspiring feat of endurance and speed. Her talents extend gracefully to gymnastics as well. At the age of eight, she earned a place in the India Book of Records for performing 45 cartwheels in a minute, showcasing both agility and strength. Vidushi Agarwal isn’t just skating fast—she’s fast becoming a symbol of dedication and dynamism in Indian sports. With her eyes on the finish line and her heart full of dreams, she continues to inspire with every lap and leap.
