Land rover rolls out new models
Jaguar Land Rover unveiled the latest versions of two of its SUVs — the Range Rover Sport, which starts at Rs 99.48 lakh at the showroom, and the Range Rover, which starts at Rs 1.74 crore.
The SUVs come with a whole host of features. Electronic air suspension, Terrain Response 2, twin-speed transfer box with electronic centre differential and adaptive dynamics give the vehicles the capability to handle on-road as well as off-road situations. There’s also a choice of high-power headlamps.
Range Rover offers 335hp and 518hp petrol options and 255hp and 335hp diesels. It’s available in 2.92m or 3.12m wheelbases. The Range Rover Sport, too, comes with the same engines.
A retractable power deployable centre console is part of the optional rear Executive Class seating in the Range Rover. Arm rests, calf rests and footrest are all heated.
JLR president and managing director Rohit Suri said that these SUVs carry forth the legacy of Land Rover and offer high levels of luxury, capability, technology and refinement.
