Nusrat, Ridhima and Gaurav inaugurated The Telegraph Auto Weekend Carnival. “When I am buying a car, I look for three things — it should be classy, spacious and big on utility,” said Nusrat, getting behind the wheel in the Honda WRV. Nusrat checked out the Tata Nexon. “My first car was a Verna. I had saved money to buy my first car, it felt really special,” she said. The white of the Volkswagen New Polo leapt out at Nusrat. “All my three cars are white. I also like black but my mom wouldn’t let me buy black cars.” The Ignis got the couple talking about car colours. “It is a very compact car. I personally prefer white, black and grey,” said Gaurav. “I have a soft corner for white cars. I feel it is very classy,” said Ridhima.
Nusrat stopped by a Tata Tiago. Does she like going on road trips? “I remember travelling to Napa Valley from San Francisco with my friends… it was beautiful… we were in a limousine.... I have a Ford Endeavour, which is an SUV. I take it out when I am travelling to the interiors for shows and shoots,” said the Zulfiqar actress. A familiar model had them going in for a closer look. “I own a Dzire, the older model... I really like the new model. The car looks very good and it is very reliable,” said Gaurav. For Ridhima, the music system matters a lot, along with the comfort factor. “And Dzire is perfect that way. And I like the colour of this one,” she said. The newly-weds looked happy on the Dominar 400 bike, specially Ridhima who felt it looked like “the Batmobile”. “I really want to learn how to ride a bike. I know how to ride a Scooty but I haven’t tried a bike yet. It’s a very good-looking bike,” she said. “I am more of a car person,” said Gaurav.
