Shouldn't get hyper, says Sen

Calcutta: Mohun Bagan coach Sanjay Sen wants his players not to get overawed by the situation, as they get ready for the Federation Cup decider in Cuttack on Sunday.

Speaking after Bagan's last practice session at home, Sen said: "There won't be a drought-like situation if we can't win on Sunday and finish the season trophy-less. It won't be the end of the world. Over the last 30 years, both Bagan and East Bengal have gone through seasons where they achieved hardly anything. So, we shouldn't get hyper."

Sen believes it's anybody's game in the final. " In our case, we need to improve in each and every area. But I must remind you that we have beaten Bengaluru FC comprehensively at their own den too, even when (Sunil) Chetri played." <>So, I think who's there and who's not isn't any issue," he said.

Meanwhile, the buzz is that Bagan too, like East Bengal, have picked the ISL bid paper. On being queried about it, club president Swapan Sadhan Bose said: "I will answer all questions (regarding this matter) only on Monday."
