'Sir' instead of Madam

Former India captain and Cricket Association of Bengal president Sourav Ganguly received a threat letter from one Z. Alam a couple of days back. The letter, typed in Bengali, carries errors, including the incorrect date of Sourav’s scheduled travel to Midnapore. Here’s a translation of the letter:

Respected Mrs Nirupama Chatterjee (Ganguly),
Subject: Appeal for CBI and CID probe
Sir,
If your son comes here on 5.1.17 he will not return home. I am sending a picture, do not send him here. Because Ashish Chakraborty has taken money from a lot of people promising them jobs. No CAB will be allowed here. I’m sending the letter because if he comes here he will return home as a picture. (He will be sent to Chandi Ganguly).
Z. Alam
