Help for Dow Hill

About 20 members of Victoria and Dow Hill Alumni Association (VADAA) met on Sunday evening to discuss ways to help their school in this "hour of crisis". The junior section of the 135-year-old heritage school in Kurseong was gutted in a blaze on February 12. "We are emotionally with the school and want to help either by raising funds through a charity event or by contributions from ex-students," said Kaushik Ghosh, secretary of VADAA. "We will create a website and spread awareness soon," said Suvobrata Guha, an ex-student of Dowhill (junior school). The VADAA members will meet again in a couple of days to chalk out the next step.Picture by Sanat Kr Sinha
