at Royal Stag Mega Music presents
The Telegraph Xmas Eve at Calcutta Swimming Club. Singing and swinging till well past midnight, the brothers performed not just their popular numbers — Shukran allah, Tauba tauba, Haule haule, Dance pe chance, Ishq wala love and Ainvayi ainvayi — but also other hits like Kamli, Badtameez dil and Balam pichkari.
Such was their high-octane energy that revellers danced non-stop, of course after the mandatory Facebook “check-in” and selfies and groupfies. While the girls grooved the hardest to Aadat se majboor, which Salim dedicated “to all the ladies in the house”, the men enjoyed Ainvayi ainvayi the most. Before the duo came on stage, DJ Akash set the mood with chartbusters like Afghan jalebi and Gallan goodiyaan. He returned to the console post-midnight for some more action on the floor.
