TV show clash

New Delhi, Jan. 3 (PTI): At least 12 persons were injured and a car of AAP candidate Sahi Ram set ablaze after BJP and AAP supporters clashed during the shoot of a TV debate show.

"During the shoot, a heated argument ensued between the two groups, which turned into a scuffle and someone set Sahi Ram's car on fire," a senior police officer said.

Both the BJP and the AAP accused each other of attacking their supporters.

The AAP said its members were attacked by supporters of BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri.

Bidhuri rejected the allegation and accused AAP supporters of unleashing violence. "AAP workers set the car on fire to blame the BJP," Bidhuri charged.

Police said they were investigating the case.
