Bagan’s review

Calcutta: After the 1-3 loss to arch-rivals East Bengal in Sunday’s CFL Derby, Mohun Bagan are trying to figure out what has gone wrong and why the team is struggling to win a trophy in recent years.

In a meeting of the club’s technical committee held on Tuesday, it was decided that the committee will meet technical director Subhas Bhowmick after each match and discuss the positives and negatives in detail, according to club’s top official Debasish Dutta.

“We need to improve and we have decided that the members of the technical committee will analyse each match and give their inputs to Bhowmick. The technical director has also welcomed the idea,” he said.

The committee has also decided that once captain Shilton Paul goes off to play in the ISL, Lalkamal Bhowmick will lead Bagan.
